Worked with the CEO on processes, ERP and document management, alongside tenders and customer presentations, with an earlier background in counter-drone system development.
Context
ASDT develops civil drone detection and inhibition systems to protect state infrastructure. My experience spans two periods: software and firmware development in 2017–2019, followed by product and operations work in 2024–2026, combining tenders, customer presentations and internal process improvement.
My role
During the later period, I worked in the tenders department, preparing technical proposals and customer presentations. I worked directly with the CEO to analyse internal processes and implement the purchasing, warehouse and sales ERP and the company’s document management system.
What I did
- Analysed internal processes with the CEO to connect the company’s needs with its management tools.
- Worked on the rollout of the ERP and document management system and trained the teams using them.
- In 2017–2019, developed command and control (C2) software and the company’s first drone detectors.
Technology and scope
The development work included the design, development and deployment of a civil system protecting infrastructure including La Moncloa, La Zarzuela and the Spanish Congress of Deputies.
Outcome and learning
The two periods connect technical development with understanding processes, preparing proposals and supporting the teams using the systems. My contribution combined software work, customer presentations and direct collaboration with management, linking the technology itself with the way the company operated.
