ASDT · Technology in a real context

Connecting technical capabilities with user needs through demonstrations, proposals and training, alongside work on products and internal processes.

Context

ASDT develops complex technology systems. Understanding their capabilities is only part of the job: they also need to be explained to people assessing, using or maintaining a solution. During my 2024–2026 role, I worked where products, external audiences and internal operations meet.

My role

As Product & Operations Engineer, I combined demonstrations, technical proposals and user training with problem analysis and solution improvements. The work crossed several areas. My earlier 2017–2019 role focused on embedded development; this case mainly describes the more recent period.

What I did

  • Presented products and prepared technical proposals for corporate and institutional audiences, relating system capabilities to customer needs.
  • Provided training and explained solutions to technical and non-technical users, making the technology understandable in its context of use.
  • Contributed to PULSE, Odoo implementation and purchasing, warehouse and logistics processes. I also helped prepare a temporary consortium (UTE) related to a public-administration maintenance contract.

Technology and scope

Technology products, technical presales, requirements and user training. PULSE and Odoo connect this work with internal management, purchasing, warehousing and logistics.

Outcome and learning

This experience strengthened my ability to connect the explanation of a solution with how it is used and the operations supporting it. My concrete contributions included demonstrations, proposals, training and participation in internal systems and processes.
